9505645-47452 Job Description Step into a rewarding part-time contract role supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Located within reach of Orleans, IN, this position offers approximately 20 hours a week working closely with both students receiving Special Instruction (SI) and those in the general education population. You'll bring your expertise and compassion to help students achieve their communication goals, providing services in a dynamic school-based setting. By collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals, you'll make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal growth.
Qualifications:
Active Indiana (IN) Speech-Language Pathology licensure is required Previous experience working in a school-based SLP or similar pediatric setting preferred Ability to manage and balance a diverse caseload including special instruction and general education students Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to SI and general education students in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in eligibility meetings Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers and instructional staff Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports for each student's file Communicate progress and collaborate with parents, staff, and other specialists Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology This role is a fantastic opportunity for professionals seeking flexible, part-time hours while still making a significant impact.
