Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start) Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Skilled in administering comprehensive speech and language assessments Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, students, and educational staff Passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to K-12 students with a variety of needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring as required by district standards Maintain detailed and timely records on student progress and session documentation Participate actively in IEP and other multidisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies across academic settings Offer guidance to families on supporting students communication at home and in social settings
