Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (independent contractor) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, feeding, myofunctional disorders in pediatric populations, helping children reach their full potential. You will develop individualized therapy plans, collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams, and deliver evidence-based interventions in a small private clinic setting. Your expertise will foster meaningful improvements in communication skills for children with diverse needs, from early intervention to school-aged populations. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify communication impairments in pediatric patients. Develop and implement tailored speech-language therapy plans that address individual needs and goals. Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, social communication, and swallowing functions. Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies. Utilize EMR/EHR systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and patient outcomes accurately. Educate families on strategies to support development and progress at home and in educational settings. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for children with complex disabilities or developmental delays. Experience Proven experience working with pediatric populations (across diverse settings such as clinics, schools, or early intervention programs is a plus). Demonstrated expertise in speech-language pathology with a focus on pediatrics, including familiarity with early intervention protocols. Experience working with children who have speech impairments, language delays, dysphagia, myofunctional disorders, or disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder or articulation disorders. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions. Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and interpret medical terminology accurately. Strong collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes. Pay:
$45.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 30.0 per week
