Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in an engaging onsite environment for the 2026-27 school year. This position offers 35 hours each week, focused on providing expert speech-language therapy, collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals, and helping students ages 2 to 22 make meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver individualized speech-language therapy, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive/expressive language delays Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluations as needed, providing comprehensive reports based on observations and results Work with students presenting a range of disabilities—including moderate to severe—tailoring interventions to diverse needs Develop, update, and maintain IEP objectives, ensuring compliance and meaningful goal setting Engage in consistent, constructive communication with families and educational peers regarding student progress and strategies for additional support Foster a positive and resourceful atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid or eligible Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and teacher's license from the Department of Education (IDOE) Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a school-based SLP setting Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate and contribute within a team Adaptable, solution-focused mindset for dynamic educational settings Enjoy competitive income based on your background and experience, with weekly pay to simplify budgeting.
