9675474-67037 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students in low incidence programs as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is especially suited for professionals passionate about making a difference in a diverse educational setting. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive speech and language services to students with unique needs, contributing to a collaborative and student-centered learning environment.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid state licensure for SLP or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles is highly desirable Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and therapeutic interventions for diverse populations Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to support multidisciplinary teams and adapt to various classroom settings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapy and assessment for students in low incidence high school programs Work closely with special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and support personnel to optimize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Offer guidance and support to colleagues, including participation in staff meetings and team planning sessions Adapt services to a range of student abilities and communication challenges, fostering an inclusive educational experience Embrace the opportunity to build positive and impactful relationships with students, staff, and families.
