Qualifications:
Active SLP license in Kansas Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school-based or healthcare settings Exceptional communication, organizational, and documentation skills Strong dedication to facilitating student growth and achievement
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and administration Utilize evidence-based practices to tailor interventions for students unique needs Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders Offer support and education to staff members and families as needed
