Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Pay:

Up to $64/hour on W2 Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This position primarily supports outpatient rehabilitation services, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation as needed. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Educate patients and families on treatment goals and home programs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing information. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities. Assist with weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology License or proof of license application. Experience in Outpatient Rehabilitation . Experience treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Strong documentation and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to work onsite in Pikeville, KY. Preferred Qualifications Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients. Acute Care and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Dysphagia evaluation and treatment experience. BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain after hire).

Pay:
