Key Skills & Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure for Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Exceptional organizational and communication skills Recent graduates and experienced SLPs both encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students, with caseloads adjusted based on service minutes and individual needs Administer assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress toward IEP goals Document services and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory requirements Consult and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and parents Offer professional recommendations to support student communication, academic performance, and social interaction
