e2138-70726 Job Description Step into an enriching opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school-based environment near Denham Springs, LA. This full-time, on-site position welcomes travel professionals and clinical fellows (CFY), making it ideal for those passionate about pediatric speech therapy and early intervention.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current state licensure to practice as an SLP Holding or actively pursuing ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations and school-based therapy settings Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments to students across designated age groups Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students in achieving their educational goals Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to maximize therapy outcomes Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multi-disciplinary IEP meetings Act as a resource for teachers and families, providing strategies for classroom and home environment support Adapt interventions to diverse student needs and cultural backgrounds
