Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid SLP license in the state (or eligibility to obtain) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred Previous experience in a school environment is highly beneficial Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Passion for working with children from diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents on intervention strategies Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute professional insights Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines Stay informed on best practices and new developments in school-based speech pathology This contract position offers a dynamic and supportive atmosphere where you can use your expertise to foster academic and social growth in students.
