9652188-71082 Job Description Step into a rewarding, full-time opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, making a difference in the lives of students and supporting their academic and personal growth. This contract position offers you the chance to work within school settings near Vivian, LA, collaborating closely with educators and families to help students reach their highest potential.
Position Details:
Full-time, onsite position within a dynamic and supportive school environment
Hours:
Select from either 7:30 AM 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, based on your assigned school Caseload of approximately 60 students, adjusted according to service minutes and individual school needs
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience delivering speech and language services in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping students with diverse communication needs Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based speech, language, and communication interventions to students pre-K through high school Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Maintain thorough and timely clinical records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create supportive learning environments Participate in IEP and team meetings to advocate for each students needs As an essential member of a caring educational community, your expertise will empower students to overcome communication barriers and achieve academic success.
