A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Bulletin 4682 Long Term Substitute Speech and Language Pathologist Braintree Public Schools - 3.7 Braintree, MA Job Details Full-time 20 hours ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Braintree High School seeks a long-term substitute Speech and Language Therapist who will be responsible for evaluating and providing speech and language services to a caseload of students who present with communication, speech, language, and social pragmatic disorders. The caseload will consist of students in grade 9-12 at Braintree High School, many of whom are students in the language based program at BHS. Must have appropriate licensure and MA DESE certified. The anticipated LTS position is from approximately 10/14/2026 through 1/21/2027
