Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful opportunity serving students from Pre-K through 4th grade as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year! This rewarding contract position runs from August 25th, 2026 to June 11th, 2027, spanning two sites near Cheshire, MA. As an on-site SLP, you'll collaborate closely with school staff and families to support students' growth and communication success during their foundational years.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience working with school-aged children, especially in Pre-K-4th grade, is highly valued Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote optimal communication outcomes Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of supportive learning environments at both sites
