A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Overview:
A Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, (SLP,CCC), position is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Falmouth, MA. Once a part of the PTS team, you may join as many of our other local Per Diem rosters in your area. Must have CCC's. Royal Falmou is ideal for sub-acute rehabilitation with multiple first floor private rooms and brand new gym space. We-re located in an isolated quiet part of town with ample outdoor space for community reintegration. Our gym was completely remodeled pre COVID. We-re looking for somebody with a passion for sub-acute rehabilitation as we have a very large transitional care caseload. Job Requirements:
Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment Possess a current Speech Language Pathologist license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation Work well with others in a team setting Be flexible with hours Must have CCC's. #SLP #speechlanguagepatholgist #falmouth #perdiem
Good Faith Rate Range:
$55.00 - $60.00 A per-diem Speech Language Pathologist, (ST / SLP), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department.
