9676677-01852 Job Description Step into an impactful opportunity providing SLP leave coverage in an elementary school setting near Lowell, MA. This rewarding contract role is designed for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) ready to support a vibrant and diverse student community. With a start date of October 29, 2026, and continuing through January 21, 2027, youll be working weekdays, 35 hours each week. Ideal candidates are experienced in working with elementary-aged children and have expertise supporting students with various communication needsincluding those with Autism who use AAC devices, articulation challenges, and pragmatic language goals. With your Massachusetts SLP credential, youll serve a manageable caseload where personalized intervention and meaningful progress go hand in hand.
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts SLP (CCC) certification Prior school-based or pediatric clinical experience preferred Familiarity with AAC devices and social pragmatics Ability to adapt interventions to meet a variety of language and articulation needs Strong collaborative and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy for students with a range of speech and language disorders Develop and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services with staff and families Document progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with special education teams and support staff for student success Benefit from highly competitive compensation at $60 per hour, paid weekly.
