Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students' communication and language development in a collaborative school environment near Uxbridge, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential through targeted interventions and individualized support.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Massachusetts Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster student growth and interact with families and staff Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations and needs Proficiency in data collection and usage of assessment tools

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and participate in eligibility meetings Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including teachers, counselors, and administrators Document sessions, maintain organized records, and communicate progress with staff and parents Develop and implement engaging interventions tailored to individual or group needs Foster an inclusive learning environment and promote effective communication strategies throughout the school community
