A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist $38 - $41 / hour Flexible Schedule Work-Life Balance Make a Difference with KDC At Kennedy-Donovan Center (KDC), we're committed to helping children and families reach their fullest potential. As an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll work with infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) and their caregivers to support developmental growth through family-centered, evidence-based practices. Schedule:
Full-Time (30+ Hours) and Part-Time Available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm
Responsibilities:
Conduct developmental assessments and evaluations Partner with families to develop and implement IFSP goals Provide home, community, and group-based Early Intervention services Coach and empower caregivers to support their child's development Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with EI standards Participate in supervision, team meetings, and professional development Why Join KDC?   • PTO is calculated using an accrual rate based on hours worked .
Required Qualifications:
  • Must meet the required degree, licensure, and certification standards as defined in the Early Intervention Operational Standards.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including occasional evenings.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other required documentation software.
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain certification within designated timeframe).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively.
Working Environment This position is community-based and requires travel to homes and community settings.
