An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a supportive school environment near Silver Spring, MD. Multiple immediate needs are open at both elementary and secondary campuses, with options to combine assignments for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week), with placements available at Wilde Lake High School, Forest Ridge Elementary, and Hammond Middle School. The contract will run through June 9th, 2027, providing stability and the chance to build meaningful connections with students and staff.

What youll bring:

Active Maryland SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship eligibility (CFY) Experience supporting school-aged populations a plus Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Flexibility for onsite assignments (remote or hybrid not available) Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support teams Your role and impact: Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in PreK12 students Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Provide direct, evidence-based intervention services Ensure all documentation, IEP goals, and progress notes are maintained accurately Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams Consult with teachers and parents to maximize student success Foster an encouraging, inclusive atmosphere for learning and growth This position offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a dynamic school environment while positively impacting student achievement.
