Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Maryland Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working in a school environment or with school-aged children is highly valued Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Adaptable, compassionate, and motivated to make a difference in student achievement
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload alternating between one elementary and one middle school Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication challenges Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and other professionals to implement effective interventions Maintain detailed records and meet all documentation requirements as mandated by state and district guidelines Support IEP development and participate in meetings as needed Stay current on best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology This full-time contract is an excellent match for clinicians passionate about empowering learners and championing communication skills.
