Job Description

Empower students to find their voice and flourish as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near California, MD. This contract opportunity allows you to work across both elementary and middle school campuses, providing essential support to students while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Maryland ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Demonstrated experience or strong interest working in school-based settings Ability to manage a diverse K-8 caseload Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Collaborative and adaptable approach within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students in both elementary and middle school settings Conduct screenings and assessments, and monitor students progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families Complete required documentation and progress reports promptly and accurately Participate in IEP meetings, student support meetings, and professional development This contract role offers the chance to build relationships with students and staff while advancing your career in school-based practice.
