Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital services to students at both elementary and middle school levels. This contract position is the perfect opportunity for a motivated SLP who thrives in a collaborative, school-based environment and has a passion for supporting student growth and success. Your role will cover a diverse caseload across one elementary and one middle school, allowing you to work with students requiring a range of speech and language interventions. Starting as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027, youll play an instrumental role throughout the academic year, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Maryland SLP License (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Prior experience in school settings is highly desirable Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple age groups Strong communication and organizational skills Adept at collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students at both elementary and middle schools Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster an environment supportive of student communication needs Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process, ensuring continuity of care This role offers an engaging full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing meaningful work-life balance.
