Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting infants and toddlers as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Based at a central administrative office, you'll play a pivotal role in helping young learners develop essential communication and language skills during their most formative years. This flexible role is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the summer of 2027, offering a consistent, part-time schedule of 23 days per week.
Desired Expertise:
Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC-SLP required) Active Maryland SLP license (must be in good standing) School-based SLP experience, especially with early intervention or infant/toddler caseloads Strong understanding of therapy protocols for early childhood populations Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities when collaborating with families and educational professionals
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to infants and toddlers, tailoring interventions to meet developmental needs Conduct evaluations and assessments, contributing to Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to monitor and document progress Attend meetings, share expertise, and offer consultation to colleagues and caregivers Maintain timely, thorough documentation following district policies and industry standards This opportunity is ideal for SLP professionals who enjoy flexible scheduling and thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on early childhood development.
