Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Seeking a dedicated contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to make a positive difference in a vibrant, supportive K-12 educational setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to collaborate with students and educators, offering essential speech and language services throughout the academic year. The role is based onsite, providing hands-on support where it's needed most.

What You'll Bring:

Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in Maryland schools highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge working within K-12 settings, including high school self-contained classrooms with moderate to severe needs Ability to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant provider Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a patient, student-centered approach

What You'll Do:

Provide assessments, direct therapy, and develop individualized programs for a diverse K-12 student population Address spot fill needs at various campus locations, supporting students and educational staff Work onsite full-time (37.5 hours/week) or consider part-time hours based on availability Manage a caseload that includes high school students in self-contained, moderate to severe programs Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and contribute actively to IEP meetings
