A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

is a dynamic Speech and Occupational Therapy Practice located in Gaithersburg, MD. As a rapidly expanding practice, we take pride in our exceptional team of professionals. We are currently seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologists to join our Gaithersburg location on a "
PART-TIME
" basis. At
METRO THERAPY
CENTER, we offer flexible scheduling with competitive compensation. Our practice specializes in neurodiversity-affirming care, myofunctional therapy, feeding therapy, AAC, FEES, and provides the unique opportunity to work alongside our lovable facility dog, Allegro. In this role, you will predominantly engage with a diverse range of pediatric clients, while also incorporating work with some adult clients. Metro is passionate about fostering an environment of learning and provides resources for growth. SLPs would have mentorship to grow into specialty areas. Join us at

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Maryland licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Strong work ethic and time-management skills Compassionate, affirming, investigative, and collaborative clinical philosophy Ability to work independently and manage own caseload After school hours
