Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity is for Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide vital therapy services within K-12 educational settings in the Baltimore, MD area. Multiple positions are available for the contiguous school year with potential extensions into Extended School Year programming in July 2026.
Locations and Assignments:
Community Preschool (Itinerant, driving between sites) serving preschool-aged students five days per week Magnolia Elementary (3 days per week) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days per week) supporting elementary students (PreK-5th grade) Aberdeen Middle School working with secondary students (6th-8th grade), including supervision of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Work Schedule:
Full-time Monday through Friday (37.5 hours/week) for two positions Part-time option available (30 hours/week Monday-Thursday), with flexibility to increase to five days if desired
Qualifications:
Current and active Maryland professional licensure for Speech Language Pathology Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with an SLPA Experience with diverse student populations across preschool, elementary, and secondary levels preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and maintain clear documentation Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Supervise SLPA services ensuring quality and compliance with professional standards This contract role requires on-site presence across assigned schools with reliable transportation. The positions provide an engaging environment to support developmental communication needs within a dynamic school community.
