Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract If you are passionate about helping students succeed and thrive in a supportive educational environment, this school-based speech-language pathologist opportunity could be a wonderful fit. You will work onsite within a collaborative team dedicated to making a positive impact on K-12 students' learning and communication.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology SLP-CCC certification required Active Maryland SLP licensure Prior experience working in Maryland school settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language services for K-12 students, including screenings, assessments, intervention, and therapy Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other school staff to support student progress and ensure effective interventions Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology This rewarding, full-time contract position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, offering 37.5 hours each week in a welcoming and supportive environment focused exclusively on onsite therapy.
