Job Description
Outpatient - mix of adults / geriatric & pediatrics Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our outpatient team, providing exceptional therapy services to both adult and pediatric populations. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient groups. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life through personalized therapy plans, collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams, and innovative approaches such as telehealth. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on individuals of all ages with speech and language challenges. We have on site PT & OT and are looking for an engaged, long-term employee to join our team. This is a salaried position where you will be able to finish your job on site - no taking documentation home. Great supportive administrative team handles all insurance, patient scheduling, etc. Clinical variety with early intervention, school-aged, adult, geriatric. Individuals on the autism spectrum, but no significant behaviors. On-site ABA to facilitate sessions. Treatment areas include artic, speech / language, fluency, voice, swallowing, cognitive, memory. We have all testing and therapy materials (you're welcome to bring your own as well). You'll have a dedicated office / treatment space, as well as a fun sensory gym. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments for children. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs. Provide direct therapy services in person or via telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote communication improvement. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies. Document patient progress accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), maintaining detailed records of assessments and treatment outcomes. Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home or in educational settings. Stay current with advances in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and speech-language pathology best practices to deliver high-quality care. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant state or region. Proven expertise in speech therapy, language therapy, and working with individuals with speech impairments or disabilities. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations for diverse age groups. Experience implementing speech-language therapy plans effectively Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with patients' families.
