Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their communication needs in both elementary and middle school settings. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload, collaborating with educators and families to foster academic and social success for children.
Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students at one elementary and one middle school Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students IEP goals Maintain accurate records and document progress toward objectives Lead or contribute to IEP meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations for student support Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Maryland SLP License Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Schools-based SLP experience preferred, particularly serving elementary and middle grades Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational setting Flexible, compassionate, and committed to making a positive impact in students lives
