Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in central Maryland. This full-time, contract position allows you to utilize your SLP-CCC expertise while making a genuine impact on young learners communication, language, and academic success. As a valued member of the special education team, youll work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to deliver high-quality services within a collaborative and nurturing setting.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Previous experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, student-centered care Ability to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Assessment and progress monitoring expertise Dedication to supporting a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students in individual and small-group formats Conduct comprehensive assessments, ID needs, and contribute to eligibility determinations Develop, implement, and track IEPs tailored to each students unique profile Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements Collaborate regularly with general and special education staff, administrators, and families to foster student achievement Deliver consultative services and participate in meetings to support student outcomes
