Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students across multiple sites near the New Market, MD area. This position is tailored for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with school-based experience, ready to make an impact in the academic year. You'll work with a manageable caseload of 35-45 students, providing essential speech and language services that help set young learners on a path for success. The assignment spans from October 1 until June 4, offering consistent, full-time hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Virtual interviews make getting started convenient and accessible. Key Qualifications:

Current Maryland State license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience working in school settings, especially elementary level, preferred Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student communication needs Create engaging, individualized therapy plans adjusted to each student's unique requirements Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as needed Rotate across assigned elementary school locations within the district You'll benefit from a contract structure that allows you to focus on clinical excellence within a supportive teaching environment, while developing professional relationships with colleagues across several sites.
