Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting high school students for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time position serves a smaller caseload, allowing you to dedicate more individualized attention to each student's needs and growth. Engage with a diverse high school population and make a significant impact within an encouraging educational setting near Owings Mills, MD.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state SLP license (or eligibility for MD licensure) Previous experience in an educational or school-based setting strongly preferred Solid communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, students, and families Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for helping high school students achieve their communication goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal requirements Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and participation in the classroom Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' academic plans Adapt intervention strategies to best serve students with unique learning profiles Benefit from a manageable caseload that lets you build strong relationships with students while honing your skills as an impactful SLP within the school environment.
