Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in the state of Maryland Prior experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Strong organizational and documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Core Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams Deliver direct and consultative speech/language services in individual and group settings Maintain accurate student records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate actively in team meetings, professional development, and family communications Offer guidance to teachers and support staff on classroom strategies and accommodations
