A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

About Us CBS Therapy is the premier provider of School-Based and Pediatric Special Education staffing. We are owned and directed by two Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering highly qualified therapists and staff to our clients and community. Our organization is passionate about helping children with special needs and serving the schools, therapists, and families that support them. We are interested in helping professionals find rewarding experiences that are tailor-made for their strengths, interests, and schedules. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC) CBS Therapy is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based placement for the upcoming 2026-27 school year!
Successful candidates will have:
Master's Degree Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) DOE Certification or DOH State Licensure Responsibilities of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC) Provide both 1:1 (one on one) and group therapy services for students. Complete all SLP required documentation/scheduling/preparation for students. Potentially attend
IEP/MDT/504
meetings to discuss student performance/recommendations as pertaining to speech-language therapy-related issues. Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports, as well as information for clients, and other professionals #PRO456

Up to $72.00 per hour
