Key Qualifications:

Current, active Maryland SLP license required Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Relevant school-based experience preferred, but open to all backgrounds Strong assessment and intervention planning skills Commitment to fostering supportive student relationships Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each students IEP goals Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support student achievement Maintain compliance with state and federal documentation requirements Attend IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and contribute to goal-setting Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions Serve as a resource in prevention, early identification, and instructional planning within the school setting
