Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity helping students thrive by providing speech and language services in a vibrant school environment near Thurmont, MD. Utilize your specialized expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a lasting impact on students communication and academic success through direct and teletherapy sessions. This assignment invites SLPs who are passionate about educational and pediatric care, including those with clinical fellowship year (CFY) experience, to lend their skills in a collaborative setting.
Qualifications & Certifications:
Active and valid SLP license for the state of Maryland (MD SLP required) Clinical experience or graduate-level training in pediatrics, education, healthcare, or school-based settings Comfortable delivering therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms Strong communication and documentation skills Previous experience in schools, healthcare, pediatrics, or teletherapy (including CFY) is highly valued Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students speech, language, and communication needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted treatment goals Deliver speech and language services in accordance with IEPs and best practice standards Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote sessions Maintain accurate records and timely progress documentation Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support student outcomes This role comes with highly competitive compensation, weekly pay, robust insurance optionsincluding medical, dental, vision, and lifeas well as a matching 401k and flexible spending account.
