9687003-04210 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschoolers as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist near Auburn, ME. Collaborate with a passionate educational team and make a positive impact on early childhood communication skills for the remainder of the school year. Your expertise will help create an engaging and supportive environment for young learners at a pivotal stage in their development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure for the state of Maine Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred Experience within school-based or preschool settings Strong collaboration and communication abilities Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of around 25 students Familiarity with IEPs and progress documentation is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to encourage carryover of communication strategies Maintain thorough records of student progress and documentation as required by the school Provide consultative support to educators and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Adapt intervention techniques to suit various learning styles and developmental needs
