8593965-04915 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students by stepping into a rewarding contract position supporting speech-language services in a dynamic school environment. This opportunity spans the 2025-2026 academic year, offering hands-on experience with a diverse caseload that covers students from PreK through grade 12. Spend your days working closely with children and adolescents, fostering communication skills that help them thrive in and beyond the classroom. Expect a stimulating workweek7 hours per day, 5 days a weektraveling between school sites as needed to serve caseloads of approximately 10-15 students.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Clinical expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students aged PreK-12 Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families Adaptability and organizational skills for managing services in multiple school sites Ability and willingness to travel locally between assigned schools Familiarity with IEP development, goal-setting, and progress monitoring Enthusiasm for working with a varied student population Teletherapy is not an option; this is an in-person only position
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose speech-language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight into student needs and progress Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and compliance paperwork Travel to assigned school locations as required by caseload assignments This is a unique chance to build your experience in a supportive, student-focused environment with the structure of a consistent schedule.
