Qualifications & Requirements:
Current, active SLP license Valid SLP license for the state of Maine Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience with pediatric populations, especially in a school-based setting Familiarity with AAC devices and supporting students with diverse communication needs Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Role Overview:
Provide direct speech-language therapy and intervention for elementary students Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment using best practices and evidence-based strategies Deliver compensatory services as needed and document student progress Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records for student progress and therapy outcomes Support the integration and effective use of AAC devices within educational programming
