This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated teams and make a positive difference in the lives of students with a range of abilities. Currently seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to support services part-time, three days per week, working with approximately 30 students. Youll have the unique opportunity to aid two specialized ASD programs (K-2 and 6-8) as well as elementary students with speech impairments. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan (required) Open to Clinical Fellows; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience providing services in school settings, especially with children on the autism spectrum and those with speech/language impairments Strong knowledge of pediatric SLP best practices Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide direct speech and language therapy Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district standards Provide consultative support for teachers working with students in ASD programs Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student needs Youll find every day meaningful as you empower students to express themselves, access learning, and connect with their community.
