Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students communication needs in an engaging school environment near Canton, MI. Desired Skills & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Experience working within school settings, providing therapy to pediatric populations Skill in conducting evaluations, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and creating dynamic treatment plans Strong collaborative skills for teaming with teachers, parents, and support staff Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students, both individually and in group settings Evaluate students speech, language, voice, and fluency needs, using standardized assessment tools Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals in alignment with district and federal guidelines Provide ongoing consultation to classroom teachers and other school personnel regarding student needs and strategies Engage families in the therapeutic process and offer resources for at-home support Maintain detailed records, write concise progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by fostering communication success for all students Take the next step in your speech-language pathology career with this meaningful contract role.
