Key Qualifications:

Current Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Michigan (temporary license required for CFYs) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong consideration for qualified CFs with supervision Must provide an official copy of university transcripts prior to being submitted for the role Comfortable working across K-12 age ranges; assignment locations may vary between Grand Blanc, Lansing, Detroit, and surrounding areas Insight into, or willingness to learn about, the challenges faced by urban children and applicable community resources Strong commitment to onsite service delivery; select remote opportunities for candidates with exceptional experience

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech/language and communication disorders in a school environment Collaborate with educational staff to support student success and family engagement Maintain thorough documentation, tracking progress and recommendations Adapt approach to meet the unique needs of each student and school community
