This contract position offers two exciting roles: one covering a PreK maternity leave and another supporting an elementary caseload, working with students from kindergarten through sixth grade. With a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students and a collaborative school environment, youll have the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license for Michigan (ASHA CCC is highly preferred) Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable Strong communication and organization abilities Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

What Youll Do:

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for assigned students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to deliver integrated support Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct therapy and intervention as outlined in student plans Offer guidance and resources to educators and families Youll enjoy a contract position that allows you to focus on your strengths as a therapist, while making a true impact in students academic and social journeys.
