This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work in person with students in grades K-5 across two dynamic campusesone serving K-2 and the other focusing on grades 3-5. With access to diverse learning environments, including traditional resource rooms, CI-Resource Rooms, and ASD Rooms, youll collaborate with a passionate team of educators to support communication growth in students.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required MI SLP license (in hand or pending for new graduates) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but we welcome Clinical Fellows (CF) Previous experience in school-based settings or with elementary-aged children is highly valued Comfortable working across a variety of classroom environments (traditional resource, CI, ASD) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for staff, student, and family collaboration
Responsibilities:
Deliver assessments, interventions, and therapy sessions to K-5 students across both campuses Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and family members to support student goals Provide consultation and resources for instructional staff to foster an inclusive classroom environment Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines This is a fantastic opportunity for both seasoned SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows seeking hands-on experience with elementary populations.
