Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This role offers the chance to make a tangible difference for students across four conveniently located schools in the Grand Blanc and Lapeer areasall within a close radius, so your workday is focused at one site at a time, not spent traveling between locations. In this engaging position, you'll support approximately ten students per building, working primarily with general education students with speech needs, as well as those on the autism spectrum or with mild to moderate cognitive challenges. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload Positive, team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families for optimal student support Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions tailored to each student Maintain compliant and accurate documentation
