This rewarding contract opportunity allows you to work onsite with a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to promoting communication skills and language development in a vibrant learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active State of Michigan SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Previous experience serving in a school-based or early childhood/preschool setting highly preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff and families Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for early childhood and preschool students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation and data tracking, adhering to state and district requirements Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students communication needs and educational progress Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Stay current with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
