We pride ourselves on providing highly individualized care for children with a wide range of medical needs through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach that includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate and team-oriented Feeding Therapist to join our team. This position would be appropriate for a skilled pediatric speech-language pathologist or occupational therapist with experience in a range of feeding diagnoses from birth through childhood. Comfort with infant feeding, skill-based feeding, transition to PO feedings, picky eating, etc. The applicant should have a strong knowledge base and comfort level in working with pediatric clients with a variety of neurodevelopmental and sensory disorders, such as individuals diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism, premature birth, Down syndrome, etc. Work days are fast-paced and require an applicant who is organized, detail-oriented, and a team player. This will be a part-time position with a feeding only caseload. Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited speech/occupational therapy program, be licensed in the State of Michigan, have obtained ASHA certification (SLP), and have CPR certification (or ability to obtain this certification before starting).
