9603613-49508 Job Description Make a real impact supporting students communication growth in a friendly school community near Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for speech-language pathologists passionate about fostering student success.

Two leave coverages are available:

one from the start of the school year through October 1st (with potential for extension), and another from the start of the school year through November 9th (also with possible extension). Whether youre already certified or working toward your Clinical Fellowship, your expertise will be valued and supported.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid SLP license in Michigan (or the ability to obtain one). ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong clinical skills and a positive approach are also welcome. Ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and other professionals to develop effective communication goals. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.

Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language evaluations, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for students as assigned. Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams to support students academic and social success. Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal regulations. Participate in meetings, consultations, and professional development opportunities. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies.
