Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP license for Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred Skilled in working with K-12 students, including those with general education speech needs, mild cognitive delays, and students on the autism spectrum Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational abilities Ability to adapt therapy techniques to varied student needs and learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 10 students per assigned site (general education, mild, and some spectrum/cognitive needs) Rotate between four closely situated schools, dedicating each day to one site for focused service delivery Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement individualized speech therapy plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to foster student progress and generalization of skills Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and student progress reviews as needed This contract begins as soon as possible and runs through June 2027, offering a stable multi-year opportunity.
