9604777-48044 Job Description Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis for the upcoming academic year. This school-based position runs from August 18th through June 11th and is located near Macomb, MI. Youll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to positively impact young learners communication skills, helping them achieve greater confidence and academic success.

Qualifications:

Active Michigan licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) CCC-SLP credential preferred; strong CFY candidates will also be considered Previous experience in school settings working with K-8th graders is a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to administer assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver individualized/small group interventions Passion for fostering student growth in an inclusive environment

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students from Kindergarten through 8th grade Develop and implement personalized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students' educational and developmental needs Provide direct speech-language therapy and document progress Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines Support students with a range of needs, maintaining a positive, supportive attitude
