Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive Special Education district for the 2026-2027 school year. Highly motivated and compassionate SLPs are needed onsite for several contract positions serving K-12 students. Your placement will align with your background and skill set, ensuring the best fit for both you and your future students.
Key Qualifications:
Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license is required (please be prepared to provide a screenshot). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Relevant experience with school-based speech therapy services, ideally across K-12 populations. Strong collaborative skills for working within multidisciplinary educational teams. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students with diverse needs in a special education setting. Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individualized student requirements and district guidelines. Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations. Collaborate with teachers, family members, and other professionals to support student achievement and inclusion. Maintain accurate documentation aligned with state, federal, and district policies. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers up to 40 hours per week during the contract period from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
